By accessing and using the University of Rwanda Management Information System (MIS), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The MIS is an institutional system provided exclusively for authorized University of Rwanda staff, students, and affiliated personnel.
The MIS is provided for the following authorized purposes:
Use of the system for any purpose other than those listed above is strictly prohibited.
Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data they enter into the system. This includes marks, workload records, research outputs, and personal information. Deliberate entry of false or misleading information constitutes a violation of these terms and may result in disciplinary action.
The MIS platform, including its design, code, and content, is the property of the University of Rwanda. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the system for its intended purposes. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any part of the system is prohibited.
Users must not:
The University endeavors to maintain system availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, and unforeseen technical issues may result in temporary service disruptions. Users will be notified of planned maintenance when possible.
The University of Rwanda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the MIS, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or errors in data processing. The University's total liability is limited to the extent permitted by Rwandan law.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from the use of the MIS shall be resolved through the University's internal dispute resolution mechanisms, or where necessary, through the competent courts of Rwanda.
The University reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the system after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
